Strayer Education – Corporate Offerings
125 years of history, more than a hundred thousand graduates, 70 campuses nationwide and a revolutionary online learning program—Strayer is a deep understanding of higher education and the American workforce, we operate at the cusp of economic change, evaluate market demands to make our students better prepared.
What we’ve learned is that there’s a major disconnect between higher education and business, what we need for higher education and businesses is to work together, so that students can gain the relevant skills to become successful employees. In 2015, we launched degrees at work with fiat-Chrysler. In my mind, that’s the most innovative education product which has been developed in a generation.
The employer pays a hundred percent of the cost for not just the employee, but all immediate family members to get a college degree. It’s a transformative benefit because it is designed to attract and retain the absolute best talent in just two short years. The results have been tremendous, employees feel valued that their learning skills are applicable to their jobs and the longer they stay with the company, the more cars they’ll sell.
Participating dealers are experiencing nearly three percentage points higher revenue growth and 40{90da94eabd823141c0724d25a10d58b7a169d51735bcb5ef7f1fd830dc12f078} less turnover, Strayer hasn’t been rethinking how employees learn for over a decade, we partnered with Verizon to put Strayer’s classrooms inside their call centers, providing employees with convenient on-site access to degree programs.
The program was so unique at the time, and it won several awards and has more than a thousand graduates. We’re not afraid to take risks, to experiment and to be bold. One of our newest programs is a new MBA program in digital entrepreneurship with Cheddar, which was recently elected to be one of the most innovative media companies on Fast Company’s top 10.
These initiatives address the fact that American businesses need employees with the right skills and students need a good return on their educational investment. At Strayer, we’re working to improve both sides of that equation and we’re proud to be a part of the solution.
